6. Financial Matters

Tuition and Fees

When you register for classes, you are accepting liability for grades, as well as tuition and fees. It is imperative that you know when to pay, and how. Tuition and fees must be paid in full by the fee payment deadline as published in the Academic Calendar. You are responsible for the tuition for all courses on your schedule after the close of the drop/add period each semester. If tuition and fees are not paid in full by the deadline, or alternate arrangements made, a $100 Late Payment Fee will be assessed and your schedule may be subject to cancellation with fee liability.

How to Pay

The University allows several options to pay your tuition and fees:

  • Direct payment
  • Third-party agency billing
  • Financial aid (grants, loans, or scholarships)

Visit the Online Payments page for detailed information about payment options and how to pay.

Non-Payment of Tuition

Students are expected to pay all tuition and fees by the published deadline for each semester they enroll. The University has a strict policy regarding non-payment of tuition that you should familiarize yourself with. Detailed information can be found on the Student Financial Services website regarding late or non-payment policies.

Financial Aid

Distance-learning students have access to many of the same types of financial aid as residential students. To qualify, students generally need to be enrolled for at least 6 hours per semester. For more information about financial aid, visit the University Office of Financial Aid website.
