School of Information Orientation Activities
ONLINE ADVISING SESSIONS
There will be two live online advising sessions, day and time to be announced. All master’s students are strongly encouraged to participate in these live advising sessions, but recordings will be available to all students after both sessions have been completed.
One session provides an overview of the online course delivery system used for our online classes. We will also cover the basics of degree requirements, certificate options, and discuss strategies for selecting your first semester courses.
The other session is a faculty advising session, in which several faculty members will be in attendance. Topics of discussion will include general advising, as well as career paths for information professionals and course selection.
School of Information Graduate Student Handbook
The handbook is linked at the top of every program’s Degree Requirements page and is updated annually.
