The Cyber Intelligence Graduate Certificate Program is focused on the contemporary issues of cybersecurity, cyber defense and investigation, privacy, and modern ethics in society. The Certificate Program prepares students to be cybersecurity analysts, decision and policy makers, information/ knowledge officers, investigators in the areas of cyber intelligence, cybersecurity, privacy and ethics. It is designed to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, investigative as well as collaborative skills. Students will develop skills in technology integration, policy analysis and implication, cyber investigation and data analytics. The certificate prepares students for a spectrum of practical and policy-related careers in a wide variety of organizations in both public and private sectors.

To develop relevant analytical knowledge and skillsets in a range of policy, data, systems, networking and cyberinfrastructure that positively impact students’ learning and cyber situational awareness, the 12-credit program offers two areas of study for preparing students with competencies in intelligence analytics as well as cybersecurity technology. However, students are not required to choose an area of study. The program can be completed online and taken within the master’s degree program, as a post-master’s stand-alone certificate, or as part of a specialist degree. All courses focus on knowledge and critical thinking skills associated with cyber intelligence and security in organizations and society.
