Research institutes, faculty, and students at the School are engaged in a broad range of interdisciplinary research. Faculty and students collaborate to address cutting-edge research topics and develop funding and publishing opportunities together. During fiscal years 2019-2023, the School of Information was awarded over $4.4 million in grant funded research. Grant awardees included 43 principal investigators and 50 co-principal investigators. Sources of funding include federal, state, and private sponsors.
